Who founded the colony of Georgia? James Oglethorpe.
what group settled in Georgia? Debtors and prisoners.
What document was the king forced to sign that limited his power? The Magna Carta.
What right was given up by British citizens when they moved to the colonies? The right to vote for representatives.
What kept new colonies from being created West of the Appalachian Mountains? The Proclamation Line of 1763.
Why did colonists rebel? They didn't have British rights even though they payed British taxes This caused them to think themselves as non British "Taxation Without Representation."
