Mitä tarkoitetaan avioliiton esteiden tutkimisella? Siinä tutkitaan, että puolisot eivät ole ala-ikäisiä (alle 18-v), liian läheistä sukua toisilleen tai naimisissa kenenkään muun kanssa. Myöskään holhouksenalainen henkilö ei voi avioitua.
Mitä tarkoittaa avio-oikeus? Jos avioliitto päättyy (eroon tai toisen kuolemaan), omaisuus jaetaan tasan puolisoiden kesken.
Miten omaisuuden osituksen voi avioerotilanteessa estää? Tekemällä etukäteen avioehdon.
Mikä sana kuvaa tilannetta, jossa pariskunta asuu yhdessä, mutta ei ole virallisesti naimisissa? avoliitto
Miten puolisoiden keskinäinen elatusvelvollisuus eroaa avio- ja avoliitossa? Avioliitossa puolisoilla on elatusvelvollisuus toisiaan kohtaan, avoliitossa ei.

Kuka/ketkä ovat avoparille syntyneen lapsen huoltajia? Automaattisesti vain äiti. Isän pitää tunnustaa isyys ja hakea huoltajuutta.
Kuinka pitkä on harkinta-aika avioerossa? 6 kuukautta (paitsi, jos pari on asunut erillään viimeiset kaksi vuotta)
Jos pariskunta ei avioerossa saa sovittua lasten huoltajuudesta tai omaisuuden jaosta, miten asiat päätetään? Käräjäoikeuden päätöksellä.
Mitä tarkoittaa elatusmaksu? Eronneen pariskunnan etävanhempi maksaa huoltajaksi määrätylle vanhemmalle elatusmaksua lapsen kulujen kattamiseksi.
Mitä tapahtuu avoparin omaisuudelle, jos pari eroaa tai toinen kuolee? Avopuolisolla ei ole automaattisesti oikeutta toisen omaisuuteen. Yhteinen omaisuus puolitetaan, muuten molemmat pitävät oman omaisuutensa erossa ja toisen kuollessa hänen omaisuutensa menee sukulaisille tai testamentissa määrätyille henkilöille.
Millainen on avo- ja avioparien oikeus adoptioon? Aviopari voi adoptoida yhdessä, avopari ei.
