history Story of the past based on evidence
primary Source First hand accounts that come from the time being studied
secondary Source Second hand accounts that come from after the period being studied.
fact Something that definitely happened e.g. France won the 2018 World Cup
opinion What people think about what happened
biased One sided accounts of what happened
propaganda Sources that are deliberately created to support a cause or a person
prehistory time before the invention of writing
museums place where objects are cared for, studied and displayed.
archives place where historical documents, maps, photographs, recordings and films are stored and studied.
chronology Putting events in the order of the time they happened.
