Camp David Accords Peace agreement between Egypt Egypt and Israel, mediated by the United States
Gaza Strip A territory along the Mediterranean Sea just northeast of the Sinai Peninsula; part of the land set aside for Palestinians, which was occupied by Israel in 1967
Golan Heights A region that was formerly part of Southwest Syria that Israel has occupied since 1967 war
Hamas a militant Islamic fundamentalist political movement that opposes peace with Israel and uses terrorism as a weapon
Palestinian Liberation Organization terrorist group political & military organization regarded as the sole representative of the Palestinian people; Political party and organization that fought for Palestinian rights
Sinai Egyptian Peninsula on the coast, creating fights between Israel, Egypt, and Palestine
Six Day War 1967 Military conflict between Israel and its Arab neighbors, including Syria, Egypt, and Jordan, The war ended with an Israeli victory and expansion into the Sinai Peninsula, the Golan Heights, the Gaza Strip, and the West Bank.
