| Infrastructure | the underlying framework of services and amenities needed to facilitate productive activity |
| Language | system of communication through the use of speech, collection of sounds and understood by a group of people to have the same meaning |
| Latitude | The angular distance north or south of the equator, defined by lines of latitude, or parallels. |
| Longitude | the numbering system used to indicate the location of meridians drawn on a globe and measuring distance east and west of the Prime Meridian. |
| Meridian | an arc drawn between the North and South poles |
| Mobility | all types of movement from one location to another |
| Multiculturalism | The policy of maintaining a diversity of ethnic cultures within a community. |
