Where were the dust storms and the dust bowl? They were in the dry areas of the nation
What events happened as a result of the dust storms? All of the crops were ruined, and the grown was all covered in sand
How did the cotton production change in the time period? The bales of cotton were sold at about 5-6 cents a bale
How did the agricultural industry change as a result of the Great Depression? The prices went down a lot because there was more demand for crops than the prices could hold
How did the Great Depression affect the economy? It caused people to loose their jobs and a lot of their money
In what ways did the Dust Bowl change Texas? They ruined crops and they destroyed farms
How was the Texas economy affected by the Dust Bowl? The Panhandle was covered in dust
