What is feudalism ? Where crops were offered for military protection
What is the caste system ? The king was on top then the lords then the knights next the peasants finally the serfs .
What are nobles ? People who landed gentry such as Dukes and Barons were given manners in exchange for protection
What are peasants ? The lower class that worked for the land gave some of there crops to the Nobles for protection
What are serfs ? The lowest class that worked the land on the manors for protection . These people convey the manor which restricts there freedom .
What is a manor ? A castle surrounding lands .
what is the magna Carta ? A document signed in 1215that limits the english monarch .
What is the black plague . It originated in China and was carried by fleas and rats .
What s the medieval period ? The middle ages from 500-1200A.D
Who was Charlemagne? A well known king for giving everyone the rights to have an education .
What are Vikings German or Scandovia people who raided farmland .
What was the monastery ? Religious monks who worked for the church
What are crusades ? Christian military expeditions to recapture land
what does scared mean ? religious
What does secular mean ? not religious
What is a page the first stage of night hood they will be about 7
What is a squire ? The second stage of night hood about 14
What is chivalry ? A code of behavior for a night .
