Militia another name for the patriots/ small army
Parliament British legislature

Loyalist colonist that remained loyal to Great Britain
Pacifist someone who opposed to all war
Boycott to abstain/ refuse from buying or selling
Desert To leave military duty
Guerilla Warfare a form of irregular warfare in which small armed groups use tactics such as ambushes, sabotages, and raids.
Neutral not favoring one side
Mercenary professional soldier hired to fight for a foreign country
