Ethnic Groups Of SWA

What language do the Swahili speak? Kiswahili
Where do the Swahili live? Eastern coast of Africa
Swahili religious belief? They believe in spirts and follow a strict form of Islam
What language do the Ashanti speak? English is their official language but many speak Twi
Where do the Ashanti live? Central Ghana in western Africa.
What do Ashanti believe in? They believe in fairies, animism, witches, and forest monsters. They also practice many rituals for weddings, death, birth, etc.
What is the Ashanti Culture? The golden stool is sacred to this group. Many of them belong to the traditional religion but there are Christians to.
What language do Arabs speak? Arabic
Where do the Arabs live? This group lives in SWA but the group also lives in North Africa. They are the largest Ethnic group.
What are the Arabs religious beliefs? They practice Sunni Islam.
What language do the Bantu speak? Bantu
Where do the Bantu live? This group is dived into two sections. One section lives down in south Africa and the other lives in parts of Angola, Namibia, and parts of Botswana.
What are the Bantu religious beliefs? They believe that spirits of their descended family have power over their life once they die and practice ancient worship.
What is Bantu history like? They are the oldest Ethnic group and had a massive migration.
