Cuneiform Def- a form of writing using pictographs means "wedge shape" writen using a wedge shaped stick Mesopotamians used this to communicate to one another
Code of Hammurabi Def- 282 laws to keep the Mesopotamians in order and controlled. Very strict and harsh. Hammurabi created 282 laws to keep his city-state under control.
Ten Commandments Def- rules for people who belive in one god. Used to respect the god Hebrews fallowed it because they believed it would grant them gods blessing and protection.
Judaism Def- religion created by Abraham. These people believe in one god. Abrahma created a new religion called this where he and his members believed in one god. He brought them to Cannan (iraq) in gods orders.
Polytheism Def- the belief of many gods All Mesopotamians believed in many gods before Judaism became a thing.
Monotheism Def- the belief in one god Abraham believed in one god and so do his poeple they are this.
Explain the Mesopotamian Social Structure Def-the devision of society by rank or class Sumerians social order was 1 King 2 Priest 3 skilled craft people & merchants & traders 4 large working class of farmers & laborers 5 slaves
