An employee sexually harasses a colleague at a departmental party that takes place at the weekend. Could the employer be liable for the actions of the employee? | Yes, the people at the party would not have been there if it were not for their employment situation. Therefore, the employer could be liable for their actions even though it is taking place outside normal working hours and off employment premises. |
