Chivalry? Rules that defined how a knight should act, roots in Christian morality
Clergy? Men who performed the services of the Roman Catholic church
Crusade? Serier of European Christians military expeditions to recapture Holy land in 11, 12 and 13 100's
Excommunicate? To be officially excluded from the Catholic Church including community and services.
Fief? Piece of land given by lord to vassal in exchange for loyalty and service
Guild? Organizations of people who practiced a certain trade
Lords? Medieval land owner who gave land to followers in exchange for loyalty and tribute
Knights? Vassal who served lord or king
Vassals? gushed
