Administration the people below the president, they make up his team.
Ambassador a high-ranking diplomat who represents a state and is usually credited to another sovereign nation, state , or to an international organization.
Biennial taking place every other year.
Budget an estimate of income for a set period of time.
Bureaucracy a system of government in which most of the important decisions are made by state officials rather than by the elected representatives.
Cabinet President’s advisors.
Checks and Balances The allowing of the other branches to check each other so one branch does not become too powerful.
Commission each commissioner is responsible for the administration of one branch of municipal business, such as public safety, public works, and finance.
Commute reduce to one less serve.
Diplomacy the profession, activity, or skill of managing international relations, typically by a country's representatives.
Electoral College a body of people representing the states of the US, who formally cast votes for the election of the president and vice president.
Electors( People) a person who has the right to vote in an election.
Embassy the official residence or office of an ambassador.
Executive Agencies a part of a government department that is to carry-out some part of the executive functions.
Executive Departments the head of the executive departments are appointed by the President and take office after confirmation by the United States Senate, and serve at the pleasure of the President.
Federalism the federal principle or system of government.
Government the governing body of a nation, state, or community.
Impeach to remove a public office holder because of a wrongdoing.
Order of Succession the order in which people may become or act as President of the United States if the incumbent President becomes incapacitated, dies, resigns, or is removed from office.
Pardon the action of forgiving or being forgiven for an error or offense.
Regulatory Commission a United States government agency is to oversee the country's interstate transmission and pricing of a variety of energy resources, including electricity, natural gas and oil.
Reprieve to cancel or postpone a punishment.
State of the Union an annual speech presented by the President of the United States to a joint session of the United States Congress.
Separation of Powers the division of government responsibilities into distinct branches to limit any one branch from exercising the core functions of another.
Veto president's way of rejecting a decision or proposal made by a law-making body.
