| II | right to bear arms |
| III | right to not quarter (house) soldiers |
| IV | right to be free of unlawful search and seizure of person or home |
| V | right to trial by jury, double jeopardy, and due process of law |
| VI | right to a speedy and public trial |
| VII | right to a jury trial |
| VIII | No cruel and unusual punishment or excessive bail may be placed upon a citizen |
| IX | Constitutional powers shall not be created to deny or disparage rights held by people |
| X | rights not given to the federal government in the Constitution are given to the states and people |
