| 2nd Amendment | Have a well-regulated militia; right of people to keep and bear arms |
| 3rd Amendment | Soldiers can't live (quarter) in your house without your permission |
| 4th Amendment | Police can't search you, your house or your things without a search warrant |
| 5th Amendment | right to remain silent, grand jury required, can't be tried twice for same crime, and due process |
| 6th Amendment | right to a speedy trial, jury by peers, to face accuser, and have a lawyer |
| 7th Amendment | you have a right to a jury in a civil trial |
| 8th Amendment | no cruel and unusual punishment, no excessive bail |
| 9th Amendment | just because these rights are listed in the Constitution doesnt mean you don't have other rights too |
| 10th Amendment | Anything the Constitution doesn't say the Congress can do, is left up to the states and the people |
