What are the three major parts of The Cell Theory? 1) All organisms are composed of one or more cells. 2) The cell is the basic structure and organization in organisms. 3) All cells come from pre-existing cells.
Who is Robert Hooke? Was the first to use the word "cell" after looking at a cork under a microscope.
Who is Anton van Leeuwenhoek? Saw all bacteria which he called "Animalcules."
Who Mathias Schneider? First to look at plants and determine they were made of cells.
Who is Theodore Schwinn? First to look at animal cells under the microscope.
Who is Rudolph Virchow? Discovered cells come from other cells.
