Chapter 6 Hebrews

Moses The leader of the Hebrews that led them out of enslavement in Egypt.
Sinai Desert The place that the Hebrews escaped to when they left Egypt.
The Exodus The name for the Hebrews' escape from Egypt.
Mount Sinai Moses led the Hebrews to Mount Sinai where he received a message from God. The message was the Ten Commandments.
Covenant An agreement. Yahweh wanted the Hebrews to renew their covenant to worship him as the one true God, and he would lead them back to Canaan.
Ten Commandments The laws God gave to the Hebrews to follow to lead a just and true life.
Ramses II The pharaoh thought to have tried to stop the Hebrews from leaving Egypt.
Joshua He succeeded Moses as the new leader and general of the Hebrews.
