Old stone age vs. new stone age

Prehistory Period of time before the invention of writing.
Artifacts Objects made by humans, left behind for archeologists to find
Culture The way of life of a society, which includes it's beliefs, values, and practices
Polytheism A belief in many gods
Archeology The study of past people/cultures through the materials they laft behind.
Barter Economy A system of trading goods for goods -no money.
Animism A belief that spirits exsist in nature
Neolithic New Stone age
Surplus Process of growing extra food creates this
Civilization A complex, highly organized social order
Neolithic Revolution Domesticated plants and animals, built villages and cities, made more advanced tools, end to a nomadic life style, formed government.
