13th Abolished slavery
14th Gave African Americans citizenship and the right to equal protection under the law
15th Gave ALL male citizens the right to vote (including African Americans)
19th Gave women the right to vote. Passed in 1919.
16th gave congress the right to tax income.
18th outlawed the manufacture and sale of alcoholic beverages.
21 repealed (cancelled) the 18th amendment in the 1930's.
