Why were Europeans traveling by sea? Sailors were afraid to travel out of sight of the coast line
First thing that wasn't good about traveling by sea? Square-sailed ships were used and those trace slowly at just the winds pace
Second thing that wasn't good about traveling by sea? There weren't maps or good navigation systems, every map was different
The Third thing that made traveling by sea bad Europe didn't have strong central governments, Europe was divided into small kingdoms
What European Countries claimed land in the Americas France and Britain claimed some of the land in the eastern part of America
He did European contact w the Americas transform the world? The settlement of the US by Europeans created one of the largest economies in the world and in the most powerful country
