Dictatorship | is a form of government where one leader has absolute control over citizens lives. |
Democracy | citizens hold the political power. |
What are two types of democracy? | Two types of democracy is,representative democracy,and direct democracy. |
Representative Democracy | citizens elect leaders to represent their rights and interests in government.(Is the U.S. Government) |
Direct Democracy | Citizens are directly involved in the day-to-day work of governing the country. |
Oligarchy | a small group of people who have all the power. |
Theocracy | is a government that recognizes God or a divine being as the ultimate authority. |
Anarchy | nobody is in control or everyone is, depending on how you look at it. |

What does consent of the governed mean? How do citizens give this consent?- | means that the citizens of a country give their permission-to be governed by the country’s government, and they do this by voting. |
rights of the minority | means protecting the rights of small or unpopular groups regardless of what the majority believes. |
