Geography Concepts

Absolute location Give the specific location by using latitude and longitude coordinates
Continent A piece of land in each hemisphere that has states and countries
Related location Give the location by using objects, landmarks, ect....for reference
Modify Change
Latitude A line that goes from east to west
Longitude A line that goes from north to south
Prime meridian The starting point for all longitude lines
Natural Resource Something that is naturally on the Earth
Hemisphere Northern, Southern, Eastern, Western.
Population distribution Where people live
Equator Starting point for all latitude lines
