absolute location a location found by using cooridinates
continents one of the world's main pieces of land
relative location a location found by using directions like north, west, east, and south
equator the imaginary line that separates the northern and southern hemispheres
prime meridian the imaginary line that separates the eastern and western hemispheres
latitude lines lines that go from east to west that wrap around the earth, parallel to eachother
longitude lines lines that go from north to south that wrap around the earth
climate the average weather for an area
natural resource something you can use that comes from the earth
