Geography Concepts
| Word | Defention | Example |

| Continent | They are a big piece of land and there are seven of them | The continent I live on is South America |
| Relative Location | North,East South,West help describe were a place is it is also relative to longitude and latitude | In South America is Florida |
| Hemisphere | Half of the world North,South or East and West | The hemisphere breaks the world into two pieces |
| Equator | A imaginary line that is know as latitude | The equator has a latitude that starts at 0* |
| Prime Merdidan | The prime merdidan is a line of longitude also it divides the word | It reaches both poles |
| Latitude | Reaches 0* to 90* helps find a certain place | South America is on the latitude |
| Longitude | Expressed in degree and minutes also helps find a certain place | Africa is on the longitude line. |
| Climate | A region with the same weather for a long time | In N.A it is super hot |
| Natural Resource | Any item that comes from outside also have organisms and are a resource | Trees,air,water,etc... are a natural resource |
| Population Distribution | A pattern were people | |
| Absolute Location | A place based on a point on earth | (most likely not true) New Orleans absolute location is 60*N,30*S |
