Outmoded adj. No longer needed or fashionable.
Prominent adj. Projecting; standing out. 2. Very easy to see; easily noticed. 3. Famous; well known.
Quench v. To put out; to extinguish. 2. To satisfy with a liquid.
Rigor n. A condition that makes life difficult. 2. Strictness or severity. adj. Severe; extreme. 2. Thorough; complete.
Sear v. To wither; to dry up. 2. To burn the surface with sudden heat.
Transport v. To carry or move from one place to another. n. The act of carrying from one place to another.
Wend v. To travel; to go one's way.
