Human Origins

Archeologist person who studies human history, particularly the culture of historic and prehistoric people, through discovery and exploration of remains, structures and writings
Historic The time in our history after written language
Fossils Hardened remains of living things from long ago
Hominid A modern human or member of an earlier group that may have included ancestors or relatives of modern humans
Nomad People who move from place to place
Prehistoric The time in our history before written language
Circa around, about, roughly, approximately
Hunter-gatherer Early humans who lived by hunting animals and gathering plants
Technology Tools and skills that make life easier for people and items that people use to meet their daily needs
Paleolithic Era A cultural period of the stone age that began about 2.5 million years ago. Also known as the stone age
