FDA Very successful in preventing unsafe products from being sold and victimizing consumers.
Clinton's Health Care Proposals
ObamaCare Very effective in reducing the number of people who were uninsured, but major backlash from people who did not want to have insurance.
Social Welfare Origins (New Deal) FDR and his determination to use government to fix the problems of the people directly increased the scope of government, while also setting the tone for what people expected in the future.
