Texan/Mexican Revolution

| Reinforcements | Additional men used to build more strength |

| Secede | To leave a country and form a new government |
| Siege | A military strategy in which troops surround an area and cut off outside access to force a surrender |

| Militia | A group of citizen soldiers |
| Minister | A government representative in a foreign country |
| Province | A district or region of a territory |
| Recruit | To select or get the services out of someone |
| Resolution | A formal expression or opinion |
| Revolution | An act of overthrowing a government and replace it with a new one |
| Sharpshooter | A person skilled with a gun |
