| Typhoons | A severe tropical storm characterized by high winds that originates in the Indian Ocean or western Pacific Ocean. |
| Plate Tectonics | Theory that explains the process that formed the continents and explains why the Earth’s crust shifts. |
| Tsunami | Large Ocean wave that is caused by an earthquake along the ocean floor. |
| Migration | Movement of people to a new area or country in order to find work or better living conditions. |
| Earthquake | A sudden violent shaking of the ground, typically causing great destruction, as a result of movements within the earth's crust or volcanic action. |
| Cultural Landscape | Geography landscape modified by the effects of human activity, such as farming, building. |
