Clinical Micro Causative Agent of Pyoderma

What is pyoderma and what is the most common cause? Pyoderma is any kind of pus producing skin lesions. The most common cause is Group A Strep (Strep pyogenes), aka impetigo
What is ersipeloid and what organism causes this? This is a superficial soft tissue infection that is caused by the organism, Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae.
What is Erythrasman, with what disease is it associated, and what areas of the body are affected? Erythrasma is a chronic, itchy, reddish-brown infection found in men and obese patients with diabetes mellitus. This infection usually persists in the groin, toes, armpit, and inframammary creases.
What is a deeper form a cellulitis? Erysipela involves the superficial epidermis, underlying dermis, and lymphatic channels
What causes myonecorosis (gas gangrene)? Myonecrosis is caused by a histotoxic clostridia
