Is Japan near Asia? Japan is an archipelago or chain of island near coast of Asia.
Does a volcanic mountain run the length of the island? A ridge of volcanic mountains runs the length of the islands chain.
How many people settle along the coastline? most people settle on one of Japan few flat plants or along the coastline.
Does the Japanese sits in boundary plates? Japanese island sits at the boundary between two plates.
How many years has a vocanoes have been erupted? Millions of years ago volcanoes erupted along this plate boundary.
What does Japan do? The plates beneath Japan are constantly pushing against one another.
What year did the last erupted? Mount Fuji last erupted in the early 1700s but other volcanoes in Japan are still active.
How many miles were Korea and Japan separate? Korea is separated from Japan by more than 200 miles of ocean.
Who were the first settlers? The first settlers in Japan came from the main land of Asia.
How did they survive ? The earliest inhabitants survived mainly by hunting and fishing.
When did other settlers come from? By 300 b.c another group of settlers had arrived from Asia.
What did they increase in ? Over time contact wth the mainland increase.
What did the Japanese started doing like the Chinese? Soon however the Japanese began too write the own language like the Chinese.
What year did Buddhist priest? In A.D 552 Buddhist priest from Korea arrived in Japan.
What did buddism do? Buddism however immediately appealed to many Japanese.
