How many people died in 9/11? 2,996 people died.
What was the invasion of Afghanistan? It was where the Soviet Union sent in thousands of troops to Afghanistan and immediately assumed complete military and political control of Kabul and large portions of the country.
How many civilians died in invasion of Afghanistan? Over 26,000 civilians died!
Why did we invade Afghanistan? We invaded Afghanistan because of the September 11 ,2001.
Who was the president during the invasion of Afghanistan? George.H.W.Bush.
