Protestant | a member or follower of any of the Western Christian churches that are separate from the Roman Catholic Church and follow the principles of the Reformation |

Reformation | a reform movement against the Roman Catholic Church to attempt to change some practices of the Catholic religion |
recant | to take back, to publicly say that you no longer have an opinion or belief that you once had |
