Vegetation All plant life in a certain area.
Tributary A stream that feeds into a larger river.
Human Sacrifice A human being who is killed for a religious reason.
Clan A large group of friends and family
Ancestor Worship The action of pleasing ancestors through rituals, sacrifices, and food.
Logograph A character that is used to represent a word
Economy A system of managing wealth in an area or region
Mandate of Heaven A power to rule granted by the heaven to nobles and kings
Feudalism A system of government based on landlords and tenants/workers.
Civil Servant A person who works for the government
Yin The dark side of nature in the daoist belief
Yang The light side of nature in the daoist belief
