why is the rivers of the Middle East important to the region of the world? the region is dry and desert or semi-desert.
What is the longest river in the Middle East? Euphrates River
what river does the Euphrates River join with? Tigris River
what is the Shalt Al-Arab? the Shalt Al-Arab is the water way formed when the Euphrates River and the Tigris River come together .
what is the Persian gulf used for? the Persian Gulf is used for shipping oil from countrys.
where is the Strait of Hormuz located? located at one end of the Persian Gulf.
where is the Red Sea? the Red Sea of located between Saudi Arabia to the East and Egypt to the West.
where is the Jordan River located? Israel and Jordan
what does desalination mean? removing salt from saltwater to make it usable/drinkable.
is desalination expensive? yes
where are areas of high poplation near water sources
what is monotheism? belief in one god
what are the major beliefs?
