Where is the Strait of Hormuz located? Located at one end of the Persian Gulf and is a waterway that connects the Persian Gulf to the Arabian Gulf.
What is hydroelectric power? a form of energy created by rain water to make electricity
What is the process of desalination? a process that removes minerals from saline water
What are 2 very important resources in the Middle East? water (liquid gold), and oil
What type of pollution is southeast Asia experiencing? They're dealing with water pollution in the major waterways such as the Tigris River.
What conflict do people believe will happen soon in the Middle East? There is hardly any clean, available water in the Middle East so people think there is going to be a war over water.
Who did the Ottoman Empire side with that lead to war? The Ottoman Empire sided with Central Powers.
