Railroad Barons A few powerful railroad owner who had consolidated with smaller companies. These few people then controled the nation's rail traffic.

Alexander Graham Bell Invented the telephone. First going to be used in business but then will be in every home in America!
George Eastman Invented the Kodak camera.
George Westinghouse Built the transformers that could send electric power all over long distances. Soon electricity powered the nation.
Thomas Edison Invented the lightbulb. Also disigned the plants that would produce electricity to power the nation.
Henry Ford Wanted to designed a car that was affordable for all people to buy and upkeep. Standardized car making.
The Assembly Line Each worker perfoms a single task again and again at a certain stage in the production line. This will speed up production and cut the cost too.
Model T The car that was first designed and manufactured by Henry Ford.
Mass Production Producing large amounts of goods at a single time.
