Government

TermDefinition
Auotcracy Rule by one (monarchy, tyranny, dictatorship)
Constitutional Government A written set of rules or laws everyone must follow
Democracy Rule by many; form of limited government (republic)
Dictatorship All powers belongs to the ruler
Limited Government Government in which laws exist to set limits on the power of the government officials.
Monarchy Rule by a king or queen
Oligarchy Rule by many
Oppersions The use of authority or power in a cruel or unjust way.
Republic A form of government whose leader or leaders are elected, usually for a specific term.
Theocracy A form of government based on religious beliefs
Totalitarian Government Government in which the state has absolute control over almost every aspect of people's lives; the individuals is considered a servant of the state with almost no freedom of choice.
Unlimited Government Government in which no rules or laws are in place to limit what the ruler can or cannot do.
