Neville Chamberlain British Prime Minister (May 1937-40); led Britain through first 8 months of World War II; known for signing the Munich Pact; believed strongly in appeasement.
Winston Churchill British Prime Minister( May 1940-45 + 1951-55); led Britain against Nazi Germany; strong leader; well known for his speeches.
Adolf Hitler Political leader of Nazi party; advocated fascism, concentration/prison/extermination camps; known for starting World War II.
Franklin Delano Roosevlt American President (1933-45); regenerated America's economy; helped Britain in the war in all ways possible except military involvement.
Joseph Stalin Premier of the Soviet Union; a few days prior to the start of World War Two, Stalin signed the Non-Aggression Pact with Hitler; his goal was to keep peace with Germany and simultaneously gain time to build up the Soviet army.
