TermDefinition
Unitary One strong central government.
Confederation Several individual governments.
Federal Levels of government: national, state, and local.
Autocratic A system when one ruler has absolute rule.
Oligarphic A system ruled by a few people.
Democratic All citizens have a say.
President Russia's Leader
Prime Minister United Kingdom's Leader
Chancellor Germany's Leader
Presidential Democracy A strong national government headed by elected leaders.
Parliamentary Democracy Government in which voters elect lawmaking body which chooses a prime minister to head the government.
