What was the religion of the Western Christianity? Roman Catholicism.
What was the religion of the Eastern Christianity? Greek Orthodox.
Why did the Byzantine Empire decline? The plague killed many people, which reduced the population
What's another reason for the empire's decline? Constant attacks/invasions, later on the Ottoman Empire conquered the Byzantine Empire.
Who founded the first most important city of Novgorod? Rurik - The Slavs invited the Viking chief, Rurik to be their king.
What kind of government did Russia have? An autocratic rule.
What was the name of the church that was rebuilt? Hagia Sophia.
How many empires was Russia divided into? And what were they called? Two empires - Eastern and Western
What was Constantinople also known as? It was known as the "Middle Way"
What kept happening to the Byzantines? They kept getting attacked by their enemies - the Turks.
