Physical geography

Triangular trade Trade among three continents: the Americas, Europe, and Africa.
Cash crop A farm crop sold for profit.
Isthmus A narrow strip connecting two large land areas.
Deforestation The practice of cutting down forests for crops or urban use.
Fertile Able to produce a great deal of fruit, crops or offspring.
Dictator A ruler with complete control.
Archipelago A chain of islands.
Rain forest A forest with warm temperatures, high humidity, and thick vegetation that receives more than 100 inches of rain per year.
Tourism The travel buisness or industry.
Provinces Smaller parts of larger countries, especially in Canada.
Commonwealth A nation that governs itself but is part of a larger country.
Tectonic plate A section of Earth's crust that floats on Earth 's mantle.
Viceroy A governor of Spain's colonies in the America's who represented the Spanish King and queen.
Harbors Places where ships can land protected from the open sea.
