| Reform | make changes in something, typically a social, political, or economic institution or practice in order to improve it. |
| Refugee | a person who has been forced to leave their country in order to escape war, persecution, or natural disaster. |
| Bipartisan | of or involving the agreement or cooperation of two political parties that usually oppose each other's policies.: "educational reform received considerable bipartisan approval". |
| Ethnic | of or relating to a population subgroup (within a larger or dominant national or cultural group) with a common national or cultural tradition. |
