Poetry Works written in verse, sometimes with a meter or rhyme

Myths Evoke events of a time long past, and they generally concern the adventure and misadventure of gods, giants, heroes, nymphs and larger-than-life villains, creation stories, why stories
Novels Same basic literary conventions as do short stories, but they expand them by presenting more complicated plots, adding subplots and creating more nuanced characters and plots.
