| Air Mass | A huge Body of air that has similar tempuarture and air pressure |
| Tropical | a warm air mass that forms in the tropics and has low pressure |
| Polar | A cold air mass that forms in cold areas and have low pressure |
| Maritime | A humid air mass that forms over oceans |
| Continental | A dry air mass that forms over land |
| Front | The boundry where unlike air masses meet but dont mix |
| Snow | Water drops that fall and become solid when the tempurature is below frezing |
| Rain | Water drops that fall when the tempurature is above frezing |
| Sleet | Snow that falls through a layer of warm air, melts and refrezes near the ground |
| Hail | Water drops that freeze in layers around a small nuclei of ice during thunder storms |
| Humitity | The amount of water vapor in a given volume of air |
| Saturation | when air is holding its maximum amount of water vapor |
| Relative Humidity | The percentage of water vapor in the air compared to the maximum amount of water vapor that the air can contain at a certain tempuarture |
