Government

TermDefinition
Government A way to provide for the people of a society.
Democracy A government system where the people have the power.
Representative Democracy A government that allows the people to vote for leaders, laws and policy.
Parliamentary Democracy A government that allows people to vote for a group of people to form the government.
Monarchy A government in which one person rules called a king or queen.
Theocracy A government in which priests rule in the name of their god.
Oligarchy A government ruled by a small group of people.
Dictatorship A government controlled by one person who took power by force.
