What is a bureaucracy? Bureauracy is a goverment with many departments apponited officals.
Under the Song, what was hiring and promoting based on? The Song Dynasty developed a merit system for their scholar officials.
What is a merit system? A merit system is a process for hiring and promoting people based on talents and skills, rather than wealth and social status.
Where do the Mongols conquer? They conquered the central China.
What innovation was need to grow rice? These systems included pumps and other water control devices.
Why was paper money invented? It was invented because coins were so heavy.
What is currency? It is a type of money.
Where is Beijing? in China
What are some of Ancient China's inventions? Some inventions were printing and gunpowder.
