Metaphor | a comparison without using like or as |
Simile | a comparison using like or as |
Stanza | a paragraph in a poem |
End Rhyme | last word of each line ends with the same sound |
Allusion | A brief reference to something or someone |
Couplet | Two lines that rhyme |
Haiku | A single subject poem in 3 lines that dose not rhyme |
Dialouge | Lines spoken by actors in a script |
Drama | A story written to be preformed by actors in a play |
Act | a major section of a play, made of several scences |
Scene | a subdivision of an act |
Script | the written text of play |
