| Simile | a comparison using like or as |
| Stanza | a paragraph in a poem |
| End Rhyme | last word of each line ends with the same sound |
| Allusion | A brief reference to something or someone |
| Couplet | Two lines that rhyme |
| Haiku | A single subject poem in 3 lines that dose not rhyme |
| Dialouge | Lines spoken by actors in a script |
| Drama | A story written to be preformed by actors in a play |
| Act | a major section of a play, made of several scences |
| Scene | a subdivision of an act |
| Script | the written text of play |
