rationalism a belief in reason and logic as the primary paths to knowledge
Geocentric Theory a theory that Earth is the center of the solar system or the universe.
Heliocentric Theory a theory that places the sun at the center of the solar system with the planets, including Earth, revolving around it.
orbit a regular, repeating path that one object in space takes around another one
Copernican Theory the theory that the sun is the center of the solar system, with the planets (including the earth) orbiting around it.
mass a measure of the amount of matter in an object
projectile a body projected or impelled forward
hypothesis an idea or assumption to be tested in an experiment
data facts and statistics collected together for reference or analysis.
microscope an instrument used to make very small objects visible
barometer measures changes in the pressure of the atmosphere
thermometer measures temperature
