Cyrus The Great He led a Persian revolt against the Medes.
cavalry A unit of soldiers who ride horses
Darius 1 Killed all his rivals for power.
Persian Wars An invasion began a series of wars between Persia and Greece that historians call the Persian Wars.
Xerxes 1 Was Darius's son and he tried to take back Greece.He also fought with the Persian Navy.
